Reports for Ocean City, Assateague Island, Chesapeake Bay, Lower Susquehanna River and Susquehanna Flats, Potomac River, Deep Creek lake fishing reports and fly fishing report for striped bass, stripers, rockfish, walleye and largemouth smallmouth fishing & crabbing.
He was evidently fishing a wreck 20 miles southeast of Ocean City in 75' of water using a Jonah crab rigged on a seven-foot, Calstar Custom rod loaded with 50-pound braid and a 50-pound fluorocarbon leader packed and a Shimano Tymos reel. It has also been confirmed by Maryland Department of Natural Resources biologist Keith Lockwood, who examined the fish, that Westerfeld's catch has broken the standing Maryland state record tautog previously held by Charles Donohue of 23 lbs.

I think I might have written this here already but I did well on white perch to 13" at the WWD of Peach Bottom a few days ago. That's my second trip there this year. A guy got a musky there the same day. Now that I think about it I believe I posted here about my first trip there when it was raining. Im getting old.
I just got home from hunting where our plans got screwed up, to long a story. No deer, but I'm going with a friend of mine next week for 3 days.I usually good there. I just saw your reports and Backdock's and I was afraid this was going to happen. It's just amazing how quick it changes.

Figured with the high water this morning moon and sun rising together and the Conowingo Dam finally releasing some decent flow yesterday... my go-to spot would be a little better this morning... it was just that a "little" better. Brought 1 "little" smallmouth to hand and had a few swipes at the popper that was it!
